| Just like using the て-form to join verbs, it can also be used to combine adjectives and nouns. | |
| The て-form of an い-adjective is formed by substituting くて - kute for the final い - i. | |
| The て-form of a な-adjective and a noun+です is formed by adding で - de to the base or the noun. | |
