小吉没有妈妈， 但有一个很爱她的爸爸。 |
Xiaoji doesn’t has a mother, but she has a father that loves her dearly. |
|
xiăo jí méiyŏu māma， dàn yŏu yī gè hěn ài tā de bàba。 |
|
| 她的生活简单而快乐。 | Her life is simple and happy. |
| tā de shēnghuó jiăndān ér kuàilè。 | |
| 她还交上了一个很好的朋友 － 安亚。 | She found a new friend called Anya. |
| tā hái jiāo shàng le yī gè hěn hăo de péngyou － ānyà。 | |
|
安亚和她一样，老家都在柳镇。 不过，她们是到这个学校才认识的。 |
Just like her, Anya came from a place called Liu Town. However, they got to know each other in this school. |

Anya is gentle and shy. Xiaoji always protects her like her big sister. |

小吉十五岁生日那天， 爸爸和安亚一起为她庆祝。 |
On Xiaoji’s fifteen’s birthday, her Dad and Anya celebrated it for her. |

她在心里许了个愿， “愿这一年里，爸爸，安亚，和我， 都能留下最美好的回忆。＂ |
Xiaoji made a wish in her mind, “In this year, may best memories stay with Anya, Dad and me! ” |

tā zài xīnli xŭ le gè yuàn， “yuàn zhè yī nián lĭ， bàba， ānyà， hé wŏ， dōu néng liúxià zuì měihăo de huíyì。＂ |
|
| 许完愿，切完蛋糕，小吉和安亚闲聊。 | After wish was made and cake was cut, Xiaoji and Anya had a chat. |
| xŭ wán yuàn， qiē wán dàngāo， xiăo jí hé ān yà xiánliáo。 | |
| “小吉，你许的什么愿啊？＂安亚问。 | ＂Xiaoji, what wish you just made?” Anya asked Xiaoji. |
| “xiăojí， nĭ xŭ de shénme yuàn ā？＂ ānyà wèn。 | |
| 小吉没有多想就告诉了安亚。 | Xiaoji told her her true wish. |
| xiăo jí méiyŏu duō xiăng jiù gàosu le ānyà。 | |
|
安亚摇了摇头， “生日许下的愿是不能说的， 说了就无法实现了。＂ |
Anya shook her head, “The wish you made on your birthday should not be told. If you did it won’t come true.” |
|
ānyà yáo le yáotóu， “shēngrì xŭxià de yuàn shì bùnéng shuō de， shuō le jiù wúfă shíxiàn le。＂ |

| “那你还问我？＂小吉反问。 | “Then why you ask?” Xiaoji snapped back. |
| “nà nĭ hái wèn wŏ？＂ xiăojí fănwèn。 | |
|
“试探你啊！ 这么经不起试探。＂安亚答。 |
“To test you. You can’t even pass the test.” Anya said. |
|
“shìtàn nĭ ā！ zhème jīngbuqĭ shìtàn。＂ ānyà dá。 |
|
|
听了安亚的话，小吉有些失望。 但她还是希望， 这个简单的愿望能够实现。 |
Upon hearing that, Xiaoji was a bit disappointed. But she still hoped that her simple wish could become true. |
|

| 果然，她的生活里有了新鲜事。 | As she wished, new things started to happen in her life. |

The first was that a physiology clinic was opened in her school. They even invited a well known doctor – Doctor Lin. |

As soon as Xiaoji saw her, she felt that she looked familiar and friendly. |

“Chatting Clinic” became very popular, people needed to wait in line to chat with Dr. Lin. |

| 第二件新鲜事更让小吉开心。 | The second new thing made Xiaoji even happier. |

| 你猜到了吧？是春游！ | Could you guess it out? It’s the spring field excursion! |

The whole grade will travel to Foyun Mountains and spend the night in the mountains! |

| 佛云山的夜，风很大。 | Gusty winds blew through the night of Foyun Mountains. |

|
女生们躲进旅馆，裹在被子里， 轮流讲鬼故事。 |
Girls were all wrapped up in bed in the hotel, telling ghost stories in turns. |
|

小吉讲完，轮到安亚了。 她胆小，哪会讲什么鬼故事？ |
When Xiaoji finished, it was Anya’s turn. She was easily scared, there’s no way she could tell a ghost story. |

|
|
“讲别的故事也行，要有点害怕的。＂ 女生们鼓励她。 |

安亚闭起眼睛，想了半天，说， “讲件真事可以吗？ 发生在我的家乡柳镇。＂ |
She closed her eyes, thought for a while and pleaded, ”Can I tell a real story instead? It happened in my hometown Liu Town.” |

ān yà bìqĭ yănjing， xiăng le bàntiān， shuō， “ jiăng jiàn zhēnshì kěyĭ ma？ fāshēng zài wŏ de jiāxiāng liŭ zhèn。＂ |

| “好啊，真事更好！＂女生们叫嚷着。 | “Awesome! It’s even better if it’s a real story! ” the girls shouted. |
| “ hăo ā， zhēnshì gèng hăo！＂ nǚshēng men jiàorăng zhe。 | |
|
小吉也期待地看着她， ＂快讲啊，安亚！ |
Xiaoji also gave Anya an eager look, ”Come on, Anya! |

xiăo jí yě qīdài dì kàn zhe tā， ＂ kuài jiăng ā， ān yà！ |
|
|
我很小就从柳镇搬到这里， 从来没有回去过， 真想听听那里发生的事情。＂ |
I left Liu Town since I was very young. |
