|
から added to a sentence means "because."
The explanation clause can be added into the sentence using から: explanation + から. |

| explanation から, situation. = situation, because explanation = explanation, therefore, situation |

私は 朝ごはんを 食べません でした。 忙しかった です から。 |
I didn't have breakfast. I was busy because. |
|
watashi-wa asagohan-o tabemasen deshita. |

ある から、 わたし は こんばん べんきょうします。 |
I will study this evening, (= We will have an exam tomorrow, therefore, I will study this evening.) |

We did not go out, because it was cold. (= It was cold, therefore, I didn't go out.) |

| Long (polite) and short (informal) forms are
both used before kara. (However, the long form before kara is inappropriate when the entire sentence ends in a short form). |
