Verb のがすきです	Verb no ga suki desu
	Add の - no to a verbal short form to express the idea of "doing X"
わたし　は　日本語　を　勉強する　の　が　好き　です。	I like studying the Japanese language.
watashi-wa, nihongo-o benkyoo-suru no ga suki desu.

わたし　は　部屋　を　掃除する　の　が　きらい　です。	I hate (don't like) cleaning my room.
watashi-wa, heya no sooji-suru no ga kirai desu.

	To be good/bad at doing something is
～が上手です	is good at
~ga joozu desu
～が下手です	is bad at
~ga heta desu

ロバート　さん　は　料理　を　作る　の　が　上手です。	Robert is good at cooking meals.
robaato-san-wa, ryoori-o tsukuru-no joozu-desu.
たけし　さん　は　英語　を　話す　の　が　下手です。	Takeshi is not a good speaker of English.
takeshi-san-wa, eigo-o hanasu-no heta-desu.

	~te form should not be used in such context.
	To describe one's personal skills or lack thereof, different set of expression is often used.
～が　とくい　でう	~ strong point /be/ (I'm comfortable with)
~ga tokui desu
～が　にがて　です	~ week /be/ (I'm weak at)
~ ga nigate desu

私は　日本語を　話すのが　とくい　です。	I am good at (comfortable with) speaking Japanese language.
watashi-wa, nihongo-o hanasu-no-ga tokui desu.
