A sentence that ends with から - kara (because) explains the reason or the cause of a situation, a proposal, and so forth.
 

Format: (situation)。(explanation) から。
   

わたし　は　こんばん　べんきょうします。
あした　テスト　が　あります　から。

 I will study this evening.
(Because) we will have an exam tomorrow.

watashi-wa konban benkyoo-shimasu.
ashita, tesuto ga arimasu kara.

  
 

The explanation clause may also precede the situation clause.
あした　テスト　が　あります　から、
わたし　は　こんばん　べんきょうします。

Because we will have an exam tomorrow,
I will study this evening.

ashita, tesuto ga arimasu kara,
watashi-wa konban benkyoo-shimasu.

  
   
バス　に　のりましょう。
タクシー　は　たかい　です　から。		 Let's take the bus.
(Because) taxis are expensive.

basu ni norimashoo.
takushii wa takai desu kara.
