たくさん - takusan A lot of, many
  If you want to use an expression of quantity in Japanese,
the quantity word (like たくさん - takusan) can either go before the noun
or after the particle を - wo [o].
   
わたし　は　きょうと　で　
しゃしん　を　たくさん　とりました。　		 I took many pictures in Kyoto.

watashi-wa kyooto de
shashin-o takusan torimashita.

たくさん　しゃしん　を　とりました。		  
watashi-wa kyooto de
takusan shashin-o torimashita.		  
   
やさい　を　たくさん　たべました。 I ate lots of vegetables.
